Every journey begins with one step
I love being home. Spending time with my girlfriend and friends. Enjoying the comfort of our beautiful and spacious apartment. Having access to commodities like a soft bed, a clean bathroom and our books.
And yet, I am a traveller. The lure of the road is always there. The joy in researching and planning a trip. And then realize those dreams. Whether it is a weekend trip to the neighbouring country or an expedition to another continent.
As a journalist I have made travelling a lifestyle. I see myself as very fortunate. It is not glamorous. I am not earning a lot of money. But I learn new things all the time; about the world, about humanity, about myself. And it’s great fun!
Travelling is all about encounters. With people and their cultures. With nature. And with yourself. This web page is a way of sharing some of my experiences, but also to relive them. I will mostly post pictures and some short descriptions. More filling stories might show up in my blog. But do not hesitate to contact me if you want to know more.
