After sailing a week in the Sporadic islands in April 2006, me and my girlfriend rented a car and drove inlands on the Peloponnesos peninsular. We were amazed by the ancient city of Mycaene and the tombs close to it. Ad very charmed by the old venetian trading city of Nafplion. From there we headed further inland to the Arkadia region with its mountains and gorges. Stemnitsa was a cute little village and Dimnitsana boasted with wonderful views. Close by is the fascianting monastery of Prodromou. On the way back to Athens we stoppedat the Corinth canal.
