While travelling in southern Turkey for a story in April 2007, I found myself temptingly close to Öludeniz and the almost 2000 meter high Babadag mountain, just next to the sea. Thanks to Kadri at the Cloud9 paraglider bar and Alim in the Ikarus shop, I was able to borrow some equipment and enjoy a flight. The start was swept by clouds, but after that, a truly magnificent landscape opened up!
