Mayrhofen is a pictoresque village in the end of the Ziller Valley in Austryan Tirol, very close to the Italian border. A major ski resort it is also a true Mecca for paragliders and hang gliders. High mountains on three sides provides a number of take off sites for various winds. Many of them boasts height differences of more than 1.300 meters. To cream it up even more, the take offs are often big and grassy, as are the landings.


In January 2008, I went to Neustift to particpate in the Stubai Cup. The idea was to try out some new wings and maybe buy one myself. You will find lots of photos here.
