India

In November 2007, I went to Kamsheet and Panchgani, east of Mumbai in India, to do a story about the paragliding for the Swedish paragliding magazine Hypoxia. I stayed at Fly Nirvana and flew with the Swedish paragliding center Äventyrscenter.

MW-India-Kamsheet-TowerHill-20071129-0143We flew from a hill called Tower Hill. Every morning, we walked from the parking to the take off, and passed a few families living in very simple sheds made out of earth, branches and stone. They had a few cows roaming freely, and the women collected the cow dung, mixed it with water and made it into standardized "pancakes". These where then dried in the usn and sold as fuel.
