Due to the Pope’s visit in München, we chose to avoid the crowds and head for the countryside. Angelica took us to the beautiful lake Amerzee, where we enjoyed a day on the water, travelling with steamwheelers between the different harbours. Here and there we disembarked for a walk. Alte Villa Biergarten provided us with a delicous lunch and cold beer.

 

In the evening we ended up in a traditional Weinfest in a barn on the Bavarian countryside. Live music, ham & cheese and lots of wine. Now, that’s what I call a recipe for a good evening.
