Today, we visited our dear friend Nienke in the Hague (Den Haag). The sun was mostly cooperating and we strolled around, sat down at terraces for a drink and in general enjoyed ourselves. We also did some shopping (I bought a suit and a pair of shoes) and visited the MC Escher art museum. Some of his pieces I liked a lot, others were OK. But it is always interesting to see some new things.

 

In the evening, Nienke took us to a very good Indonesian restaurant, the Poentjak. We had a huge and spicy Rijstaafel with many tempting dishes. I really enjoy Indonesian food, and they say the best in Europe is found here in the Hague.
