Jaffa by the Sea

I have had problems with my camera for quite a long time. It is new enough to be covered by the guarantee, but only in Europe . So I have to send it with friends to Sweden to have it fixed (you cannot trust the Israeli postal system for one second).
Meanwhile, I am going to use my old camera, which is now Femke’s. But it also needs service…
As you already know if you are a frequent reader of this blog, I (and my cameras) live a somewhat adventurous life. So I am not surprised that service is needed (who is going to service me, I wonder?).

Anyway, today, we went to Tel Aviv to hand in Femke’s camera to the Nikon work-shop. Afterwards, we drove to Jaffa and the beach there. Anna from Kvinna till Kvinna and Lotta (there are to Swedish Lottas among our friends here, amazingly they have the same family name as well!) from EU Copps were already there.
We had a really nice time, chatting and swimming in the comfortably warm Mediterranean. When our Skalmansklockor (sorry, untranslatable Swedish expression) reminded us that we needed food, we strolled down to the old harbor of Jaffa. There is a fish restaurant that somebody had seen before but never tried. So that is what we did, ordering a huge seafood platter with lots of fried calamares, grilled shrimps and other goodies. Very nice.
