We have found a new local friend!

 

One of or neighbors rescued a dog at the market recently. It was without owner and was almost run over by a lorry. She (the neighbor Uli) took the dog home out of mercy. But she does not really have the time to take care of the dog. When she noticed that I stopped to talk with the dog every time I passed it (which is daily), she asked if I wanted to adopt it.

 

I declined, although I was temtped. The dog – she is called Kika and is maybe five months old – is sooo cute and very charming. But unfortunately I travel far to much to be able to take care of her.

However, I did offer my services as long as I am around. So now we walk her every evening. It is great fun, and she seems to like it as well.
