Today, we had a public event for our EWAS program. Both Femke and me have worked hard to prepare it. Press and dignitaries were invited to first Halhul, west of Hebron, and then Beit Jalla, just outside Bethlehem. At both places we held inauguration ceremonies for new projects together with the local mayor and the highest boss in the region of USAID, who funds the projects. It was quite successful. Afterwards, Mohammed, Tom, Jamal, Femke and me had a chicken lunch in Beit Jalla (photo).
