What a wonderful feeling, to be back in Brussels! I am here just a few days, to take some photos for a travel story, and to meet friends.

First, I met Brad, and we discussed the situation in the Middle East, and what happened in Brussels since we last saw each-other, half a year ago.

Then, I went downtown to take photos of the very elegant restaurant Belgaqueen. It is a cool place with excellent food. Recommendable!

After that, I couldn’t help but sitting down on a sidewalk café, ordering a Chimay Bleue and some cheese. Later on, Sara came over to Brad’s place, and we had a beer at one of the African bars just below his flat.

 

In the evening, Stephen and his ex (?) girlfriend Natalie joined us for dinner downtown. We had a nice evening. It feels great to meet old friends, and to be in a free country, where you do not see suffering, poverty and racism everywhere and everyday.
