Today, I had a meeting in Ramallah with Palestinian Medical Relief Society, to learn more about a medicine against high cholesterol that we recently donated. While seated, an Israeli Army jeep passed on the street - not really a normal thing, considering Ramallah is supposed to be ruled by the Palestinians themselves. The doctors I was meeting then told me about a shoot-out in Ramallah with Israeli soldiers the night before, resulting in several dead and wounded Palestinians. Such is the daily life in Palestine.
