Yesterday, Femke’s Dutch friend Eddy came over for the weekend. He is in Israel visiting family and decided to pop by. So today, we showed him our office (his request) and Salah Al-Din Street in Eastern Jerusalem. We also visited the Garden tomb, where Protestants believe Jesus was buried. Lucky as we are, we came just in time for a free guided tour, which was very good and interesting.
Then we strolled around in the Old City, choosing alleys and roads we have not used before. We had a nice lunch while people watching on Via Dolorosa and even bought some antique photos.
In the evening, we had a drink at The Colony, a cool bar in the west. Polish Magda, Lotta the journalist and Ric (a Spanish journalist) joined. Nice!
