Today, I visited the Ozone paragliding company. They have their headquarters in a village not far from Gourdon, so after lunch we drove there to say hello and check out their premises. It is always fun to meet dedicated people, and these guys really breathe paragliding.
They were also kind enough to borrow me one of their new Ultralight gliders. Weighing less than 3 kilos, it packs away to almost nothing.
In the afternoon, I tried it out on a quiet glide from the top take off at Gourdon down to the landing field in the valley, more than 5 kilometers away. It was for sure a different experience flying such a small and light glider. A pity these toys are so costly...
